With a read and write speed of up to 3840 Mbps, the enclosure supports high-speed SSDs that use the USB4, Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 standards. The USB4 NVMe SSD Pro Enclosure is backwards compatible with USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbit/s), USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbit/s) and USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s). The actual transfer speed depends on the speed of the SSD card used.
The housing itself, made of high-quality aluminium with a robust polycarbonate cover, combines modern design with optimized performance and enables improved heat dissipation. The scope of delivery includes a clear case for additional protection of the device, a thermal pad for efficient heat transfer and a USB-C cable.
