Ord.Nr.: 132822Man.Nr.: 680-0900EAN-Code: 0817961029007

Product description

For fun collaborative and cross-curricular learning and project-based lessons: The littleBits Invention Kit (1 Kit) from Sphero is ideal for primary and secondary school students to develop basic skills such as creativity and problem solving and get a hands-on feel for STEAM subjects using the 29 electronic modular building blocks, called Bits, included - all without a screen. With the different colored bits, students of all ability levels can intuitively grasp the basics of circuits while using the process of building circuits to develop their own inventions.

Thanks to the kit's color-coded, reconfigurable modular building blocks and accessories, students can effortlessly set up and invent circuits individually, encouraging experimentation through play. In addition, the littleBits Invention Kit includes guided, exciting open-ended challenges and cross-curricular lesson plans that simultaneously introduce the fundamentals of engineering design and encourage critical thinking through the application of engineering, physics, art and construction knowledge.

Infinite possibilities for inventions

The individual bit types and their role in the development of dynamic inventions are differentiated by their specific functions, with the functional groups identified by different colors.

For example, blue bits allow current to flow through the circuit when connected to a battery or computer, while orange bits, such as a fork or coding, can be used to extend circuits in new directions or connect to other systems.
Pink bits represent the input, such as buttons, dimmers or sensors, and add control, while the green ones are the outputs that light up, move or make a sound, for example.

With creativity, students can also use the accessories to build self-propelled vehicles with multiple circuits and DC motors or invent a robot that wobbles, lights up and dances to music.
