The remote control features two modes, Multimedia and Presentation, to go from controlling media to presentations with just a switch. The Multimedia mode helps to control anything regarding media – with volume control, pause/play, forward/back, home, Siri, mute, and virtual keyboard to control movies, playlists, podcasts, and more. MacOs does not support the Siri function. 
Switch to Presentation mode to effortlessly navigate on-screen applications and guide presentations with four-way arrows, Home, left/right mouse, and mouse on/off buttons (on-screen laser pointer – enabled in PowerPoint and Keynote settings).
